This notice clearly explains how Politaxis processes personal data received through the website and in connection with its services and relationship with the Cooperative.
The controller is Cooperativa Politáxis – Central de Rádio Táxis de Coimbra, C.R.L., with registered office at Rua Dr. António José de Almeida, no. 329, ground floor, shop 13, 3000-045 Coimbra, Portuguese legal person no. 501 664 629. Data protection requests may be sent using the contacts below.
We may process identification and contact data; request, journey or complaint details; administrative, contractual and financial information needed for the relationship with the Cooperative; and technical data strictly necessary for service security and continuity. Data is provided by the person, arises from use of the services or is lawfully held in Cooperative records. In forms, provide only the information needed for the request.
Data is used to answer contacts and complaints, provide and manage services, administer the relationship with the Cooperative, comply with legal, tax and accounting duties, keep services secure, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The applicable bases are pre-contractual steps or contract, legal obligation, and legitimate interests in administration, security and legal defence (Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR). It is not used for behavioural marketing.
Access is limited to authorised persons. Where necessary, data may be disclosed to providers supporting accounting, communications, hosting or maintenance, and to competent authorities, only to the extent required and subject to confidentiality. Any transfer outside the European Economic Area requires an adequacy decision or appropriate GDPR safeguards.
Data is kept for the time needed to answer or provide the requested service, for the applicable relationship, statutory periods, and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk are applied.
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability. Erasure or objection may be limited by legal duties or the need to defend claims. Politaxis normally replies within one month. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD.
